Meyle Water pump.

Has anyone used a Meyle branded water pump?

Water pump is spinning on the spindle. Will change the timing belt whilst I'm in there.

Or is there another good brand of water pump to use? Will probably have the Audi for 1 more year max, then we will be in a position to buy a much newer Audi.

Yep - they're popular amongst the BMW fraternity - I've put one in my Z3 where it's been for a few years with no problems so far. Meyle HD seem like a decent aftermarket brand. Other than using OE, opinions are a bit thin on the ground when it comes to decent aftermarket water pump manufacturers.
