My car volume+ bass goes up and down when driving anyone know how to fix this problem


Only does it when I play my music through the mmi cable

Are you in the correct forum? Your pic shows an 8V not an 8P? At a guess I would imagine it's the GALA setting or if you have Bose then the dreaded Audiopilot issue.

Sorry my mistake and I’ve turn the gala off it work find on the radio just not on my own music not sure why

There is some sort of system besides gala that turns volume up and down, i have gala off but it makes no difference, volume is directly proportional to the noise in the car.****** nuisance, i did ask Audi to turn it off once and they did but after a year or so it suddenly started working again. I wonder if its to do with the volume turning itself down when in reverse ?

Such a dumb thing to have isn’t it.

Clearly they didn’t test it properly.
