I've just used Bilt-Hamber AutoWash for the first time, was going to do a review but to be honest it's probably better to put it in here. Blows away anything I've used before - no way I'm going back now!
Previously swore by Meg's Gold Class, then had a bottle of Britemax (I think - purple, comes with a little measuring section in the spout?) which did the job, nothing more nothing less.
I then went over to Carbon Collective Lusso which I've had for about 18months, it was ok but very low foaming - not always a bad thing - and whilst it felt slick, I seemed to use loads - barely getting round the car with the one bucket.
Recently got hold of a very small bottle of Bilt-Hamber AutoWash (250ml or something!) and gave it a go for the first time today. WOW!
1tsp is the recommended dose for a large bucket, so it's super-concentrated; but be warned, it's also very thin so it pours much easier than many shampoos (my bucket may have received around 1.5tsp before I could stop!
)
I always pour into a couple of inches of water (learned the hard way that certain shampoos just stick to the side of the bucket sometimes), and I then swirled the grit guard around to agitate. Once the bucket was filled, I had a nice thick head of suds and super slick water. Now this stuff is straight-to-the-point, no-frills product, so it is almost odourless, clear and in plain packaging. But my word, how it performs!
My Microfibre Madness wash mitts just got more and more foamy, and I did the car twice round with less than half a bucket. Slick, as well as foamy, and so easy to swipe across the car. I won't be going back!
Oh and again, PLEASE be gentle with this stuff if you try it - a SMIDGEN goes a very long way!
10/10 hands down the best I've tried.
