Hi everyone got myself a boost gauge for my 1.8t apu what's the best way to fit it what pipe for boost also best place for 12v live feed cheers

I'm thinking about removing the three center vents and replacing them with a steel panel and 3 gauges, maybe boost, oil temp and oil pressure

Sounds sick

I fitted mine in centre vent and kept the vents working.

Plenty of guides on here and via Google on where to tap in the vacuum hose.

I tapped the 12v source into the vent roller lights....

oil temperature should already be on the cluster?

On my avant i got a Podi guage and column mount:

They seem to have discontinued the column mount, but it looked like this:

Maybe you could email them and ask

In my old saloon i mounted the guage in the dash vent which is a common approach (not my pic):

You can buy a vent with a hole, but i just picked up some vents from the scrappy and made it fit.

In my track car i went with a vent guage, plus a small electronic display for oil pressure and AFR:

Looks good mate problem with mine I need constant 12v live

Brilliant was thinking that in the process of fitting a aftermarket head unit thanks

you must have the low-line cluster then. The higher spec cluster had oil temp and battery volts in the bottom left and right corners.

i dont actually know. have a look on the oil filter housing and see if you can see two sensors or one sensor and perhaps a taped up wire or similar.

oil temperature and volts

I think most sport models got the 6 dial cluster, and i think it became standard on later cars unless very basic spec?
