hello my 2010 audi a3 2.0 tdi has a issue, i will explain from the start ,

basically about 1 month ago my i was driving my car in stop start traffic and then the clutch pedal lost compression and was sticking to the floor, i had to keep pulling the clutch leaver back up with my toe, so i kept pumping the pedal as it felt like it was getting better again(then it had compression) but the journey was a nightmare i had to keep bascially pumping the clutch leaver to get compression, eventually i got home, then the next day it was ok and has been up until today where it has completely lost compression and the clutch leaver is stuck on the floor and wont come back up unless i pull it back up, the clutch and brake fluid reservoir is ok with brake/clutch fluid still in there, also the fluid does look abit dirty, also if i start the car up and keep pulling the leaver up and dwn eventually there will be pressure in the clutch leaver enough to engage and change gear but after around 5 mins the car clutch leaver loses compression and is back on the floor, does anybody know what may be the cause and what needs to be fixed please, as i am not to much of a car mechanic ps any help is very much appreciated many thanks

Clutch slave cylinder maybe knackered/air inside. You definitely need the slave cylinder to be checked by a garage if you don't know what you are looking for. On a 2010 car this should not be happening, the clutch components should last a lot longer unless it's been subject to clutch abuse by a previous driver.

its got one previous owner 90,000miles ive had the clutch system bleeded this morning by a garage they said it had air in the system, the clutch pedal felt normal after around an hour of driving the clutch pedal has gone back to the floor, im assuming its got air in the system again, can anyone point me in the right direction so the garage can get this sorted asap please

The exact same thing happened to my cousins BMW. The clutch pedal was sitting on the floor, turned out to be the master slave cylinder.

Edit: I just realised you're from Birmingham. I use a very good Vag specialist garage in Cannock called Midland VW, if you're unsure give them a ring and have them check it out. They do a really good job, give warranty and won't break your bank.

I had a similar issue when on track my clutch pedal would stick to the floor, I had to pull it up myself. I bled the system loads of air bubbles came out then the pedals were good again. After a couple of weeks the same would happen. The T piece bleed valve just before the slave was the problem. Replaced it bled the system and been good for over 6 months now. The part is only about £25.

That on the gearbox, where the slave comes out from or are you referring to the master cylinder?

The bleed valve connected to the slave cylinder, next to the gearbox.
