Just taken the diverter valve out and there's nothing wrong with it, no tears whatsoever... Do I stick that back in or replace with the D?
Is there any way I can find out which version I got fitted in my car without taking it out? Reason I say this because the cam follower I replaced was practically new or at least it look that way and the dv was in very good condition as well, this leads me to believe the previous owner may have replaced some of the problematic parts.
My thoughts exactly Rob, just needed a 2nd opinion thanks.but yours being a saloon looks way better without any , just looks less cluttered , a more clean finish .just my input.
Any updates on the diverter front.
Took the wagon for a proper drive earlier this morning but nowhere near as early as you Rob!
It seems to go slightly faster and a more of a whistling noise is evident but again all this could be in my imagination! Glad I replaced it though - that's another headache out the way and hopefully never have to replace it again.
