MFSW Retrofit

Hi!

I tray to install el new steering wheel with the new module (8P0953549F) and i have Angle sensor error (dont found). All work perfect, buy i the hydraulic steering dont work.

My car ir an A3 2008.

The module dont work or i need to do an adaptation??

I don't know for sure but will need adaption for definite and possibly coding too?

If I remember correctly you can calibrate the steering angle sensor by turning full lock one way and holding for up to 30 seconds, turning full lock the other way and holding 30 seconds and then return to centre. The light may stay on until you pull forward a few yards

Yes i do it.

But i scan the car with the vagcom and say that not found the angle sensor

This is why i think it need a coding o an adaptation

It needs coding definitely if you've retrofitted from a non mfsw.

The coding is for the MFSW??? o for the angle sensor?? because, the sterring work perfect!

I don't know exactly why it needs coding but it just does. When I did mine I bought the new module and also an airbag harness and obviously the new wheel and then it was coded and then all worked fine first time

The module is coded, its work fine. The problem is that de angle sensor no work so i dont have hydraulic steering.
