annoying rattle sound.

Afternoon all,

Last couple of days i have been noticing an annoying rattle coming from the the right rear of my car (S3 2007).

Rattle is best heard when sat idle, and the speed of rattle increases with engine revs, but sometimes it randomly just stops.

Its definately nothing rattling around in the boot and i have chased the sound back to the feul tank area.

Is the low pressure feul pump located around here and could that be where the noise is coming from?

Any ideas/tips would be much appreciated, haha its really messing with my driving experience!!

Another recent rattle reported on here was, that one of the plastic chassis covers fitted to the floorpan was loose.

Mine does it , it's the heat shield around exhaust the bolts rot through and it's easier just to rip it of
