****** good job matey - well worth the £400 to get the Porsche back to the way it was meant to look.
So how about a little write up on what you used - for all us novices.
thanks
basically i used autoglyms trade range. the products are stronger and more effective than the retail stuff
in this order i did the following...
Stripped off any old wax with TFR
1300rpm polished with 03B compound polish
1300rpm polished with Paint renovator polish
Alloy wheel cleaner
TFR tyres and arches and wheels
Shampoo entire car
Apply cleaner wax
condition rubbers and plastics
polish exterior glass
dress tyres
wax wheels
take off cleaner wax and 1800rpm buff
apply hard wax and leave for 3 hrs while carrying on other work
vacuum interior
shampoo interior
polish interior windows and mirrors
clean leather
dress plastics
feed leather
take off hard wax and 1800rpm buff
check everything looks ok and have a cup of tea.
I thoght the Porker belonged to a Pikey there in when i seen it next to the caravan. Relieved to see it next to a house a pic or two later.
haha someone else said that on another forum actually.... Nah Steve is no pikey... although he does have anice carlight caravan and a house in Ireland.
Fantastic job JK, Nice to see I use same product (AutoGlym) as you....
ALMOST the same.... the trade range products are generally stronger and more effective.
