Hello, I'm from UK and have a 2007 Audi A3. I don't like my factory lights so I was thinking of upgrading to xenon. Not sure if i should change my whole headlight set with this (http://www.welldonehid.com/en/a3/192-xenon-headlights-audi-a3-plug-play-rhd.html) or just get an hid kit (http://www.welldonehid.com/en/hid-kit/76-a38p-hid.html) ?? Also if i get the hid kit do i need to make a hole in the plastic cover for wire to pass thorough ballast from the bulb?? PS what colour temperature bulb are included in the headlight set since there seems to be no options for the bulbs, I want 6000K. Plus why can't we use LHD headlight on RHD cars, as the RHD headlight for UK are more expensive then LHD headlight which i don't get why?...Sorry im just throwing too many questions at you, im new to this car lights stuff. I just want to understand it more before i make any order. Thanks
Hi Sunshil Pun,
Xenon headlights are better designed & also better looking.
It is a big improvement.

I would recommend to replace the headlights, better than just the bulbs.
You will have projector headlights with a perfect light cut off & better look.

No. If you get our A38P HID kit you don't need to make any hole in your headlights.
Our HID kit is designed to be installed inside the headlights.
There are no cables hanging out of the headlights, nor cables to the battery.
PS what colour temperature bulb are included in the headlight set since there seems to be no options for the bulbs, I want 6000K.
By default our headlights comes with 6000ºk.
6000ºk is pure white. It's the color we recomend to most of our clients.
The quality of the ballast is very important to offer a real color.
Some HID kits with 6000k bulbs give blue or violet colors, that is common with bad quality ballast or DC ballast.
Good quality ballast makes the bulbs give a warmer tonality.
For example, below you can see our Valeo HID kit with 6000k bulbs.
LHD & RHD headlights are different. LHD (Left Hand Drive) & RHD (Right Hand Drive)
To avoid the glare from other drivers headlights have a different light cut off. Just the opposite.
Trust me... I wish one type of headlight was enough instead of having to offer 2 different models.
UK, Japan, Thailand... requiere RHD headlights or otherwise they will not pass the MOT.
Our warehouse is in a LHD country and 90% of our clients requiere LHD headlights
It has been very complicated to be able to offer RHD headlights.
There are no suppliers outside UK that can provide this kind of headlights and factories do not want to sell RHD headlights to LHD countries.
That is the reason why the RHD headlights are more expensive.
