In the last 5-6 months I've noticed a whining (light siren) noise when I hit the gas in early gears, and acceleration has become rather flat.. someone told me it's potentially my turbo on the way out.
Does anyone know a decent mechanic in West London or up north in Yorkshire who can investigate and fit a refurbed turbo?
Car is A3 Sportback 2007 170bhp 2.0 TDi with about 158k on the clock.
