My A4 B5 1.8TQS S4/RS4

Hi everyone!

Wanted to start a thread for my A4, it's a 2000 model TQS with a few upgrades. It has done 100000 miles (160k km) had a full respray under a year ago so the car is in pretty mint condition outside and inside.

Specs:
- Fully converted to S4 exterior, with new inner fenderliners.
- RS4 Recaro partial leather interior
- OEM RS4 passenger mirror (so both mirrors have the same size)
- OEM RS4 interior trim plus door cards, with the black door handles
- Bilstein PSS9 coilovers
- OZ Ultraleggera 18x8 winter wheels
- Full custom 3" downpipe with 2,5" Ferrita exhaust with 100 cell cat.
- Front mounted intercooler
- Cold air intake kit
- Sachs Performance clutch with single mass flywheel
- Bosch 044 fuel pump
- Tuned

Looking for new summer wheels at the moment, do any of you have some tips ? I want dish or concave wheels in 18" size

Last weekend i installed a HID kit in the low beams, i like to keep the car the OEM+ route so i mounted the ballast in the original place with a cover on. See pics below!

I am playing with the idea of installing Bi-Xenon projectors in the headlamps, have anyone done this before? :)
 
yep, mark has completed a set and mine are almost done, i need to finish some trimming inside and reassemble the casings.

Nice! Do you have any pics and do you know what type of projector thats used ?
 
Looks really good. If the OZ's are winter wheels what do you run in the summer?
Thanks Chris! I have a set of 18" RS4 reps laying around, but are going to buy new wheels this summer :) If you have any suggestions come with them

I believe mark used the Morimoto Mini D2S. Mine are the Morimoto FX-R's.

The FX-R's are a tight fit, so if i were doing it again i'd probably use the mini's.

looks lovely, could you post a picture of the back end? I have a TQS in the same colour and I like the look of your rear clusters!

Thanks! I like the taillights aswell, gonna buy some new of the same ones because one is cracked.
I only have this picture off the back of the car :)

I've been eBay-ing them every few days to see if any come up but nothing
 
There was silver s4 front bumper on ebay last week. Went for under £200. I have a set of side skirts if you are interested :)

Took a quick wash on the B5 today, have to get it detailed soon! Hope the winter is gone here soon :)

Do anyone know if 18x9.5 et35 with 225/40 tyres will fit with small rolling off the front fenders?

I hope your not planning on fitting those in some awful scene style with stretched tyres.

I believe it is called "gay stance" by people that track their cars :)

Lovely wheels though. I think Michael has the same on his S4.
 
yeh but you can have nice looking wheels, fitted properly, or you can have nice looking wheels where you've stupidly purchased a size and/or offset that doesnt fit, and are then trying to force them onto the car with ill fitting tyres etc etc.

The wheels are fine, i dont particularly mind the design, the problem is they dont fit and have the wrong tyres on them.
 
That's because they are 9.5" wide. 8.5" would be perfect imo.
