Was a good day thanks. Weather a bit and miss, but stayed dry until we left which was a bonus.
Only downer with this show is in the title. It's called the Moving Motorshow. I thought this was because members of the public were entitled to drive or get passenger rides in cars up the hill climb. However this year most of the companies were reserving rides for f*****g corporates, VIP's or competition winners (the latter I applaud).
Therefore you can no longer rock up and get a test drive in something interesting, so its become a 'watch **** drivers run up the track at a snails pace'. They've basically ruined what was a great day for enthusiasts, with only very few low end companies offering rides (although most of these were booked out and gone before 7am).
Don't get me wrong, it's worth a visit, but against what this was say 5 years ago, it's on the road to ruin. Too many people allowed in, prices inside the venue are too high, and it feels like it's become a sterile over corporatised shambles rather than a bespoke enthusiast motorshow, but where there's money. I'll stick to revival and breakfast clubs for a year or two (or the main weekend events).
Looks like the quality of the vehicles there were second to none, however it doesnt sound like you enjoyed yourself as much as one previous occasion, in all honesty, most shows etc are going this way now, as thats where the money is
