Hi, just wondering if anyone has a picture of the right hand side of the head on an agu engine in situ. I think mine is missing a bung where the cam cutout is on the side. It's very very oily there. I'm worried it's been letting grit into the timing chain part of the head.

There is a half moon seal (inlet cam side, front of car) under the can chain tensioner that set in a bit and gives the impression its not there... the other (exhaust cam, bulkhead side) is part of the cam cover gasket... both will harden and shrink over time and oil will leak all down the gearbox side of the head... all 20vt heads are the same btw....

Thanks, looks like it's time for a head strip and rebuild. The seal has fallen out completely. I can see the end of the cam through the hole :/
