Stan @ Eco tune sent me both graphs and i did quick overlay in photoshop. Shows stock spool/response using TTE420. This is very much like I'm seeing on others OEM+

just one question. how can you run 27-28 psi of boost? i thought that s3 ecu can get up to 21-22 psi without boost controller?

Not sure on the question here.

Are you asking how it reached over 22 psi on stock ecu?

Bearing in mind its had the APR ecu treatment.

UNMAPPED it made 427 HP and 445 FT LBS on the APR stage 2+ map.

my friend had lo400 on his mk6 gti. and without intercooler upgrade it made 390+bhp on revo stage 2+ software i think it wasn't tweaked for the new turbo. but i think tt420 has more potential than lo400, more like lo4xx.

Here is dyno at only 21psi or 1.5bar peak boost (No wmi) result just few days after yours. Same car is now going St3 revo tune so will be interesting...

Not officially as yet, but there aware. Please ask them direct or your local Revo agent. More that ask more chance of some kind of support

Feels awesome still. Its still maintained its daily drive ability. Still maintaining 22mpg town driving and 30+ on the motorway. And more power on tap. Whats not to like?

Absolutely perfect bang for buck mod.

Doogie. I take my hat off to you. Superb thread and superb final outcome. I'm in exactly the same position as you at present. Been speaking to Simon regarding the TTE420 and have just had a devils own progressive WMI Kit fitted currently running APR Stage 2+ and am booked into R-tech on the 17 the for a live map for my WMI. Is the difference between stage 2+ and the TTE upgrade huge? Think I'm gonna be getting in touch with Simon very shortly

Honestly......yes. big change over stage 2+ for me. The way the boost comes on is absolutely mental.

Bang for buck this is by far the best mod for an S3 imo. The way it delivers power is incredible.

Definetely go for it. Ive still to get my wmi functional.

Had to send it back to snow performance for testing as it wouldnt function. Turns out it is faulty so they will be sending me one out next week.

How do you find yours unmapped for the wmi?

Few ways to go about getting a TTE420. Either direct through me and use a specialist garage of your choice, or preferred is using one of our dealers.

. Time scale is now around 30days due to demand be it new or reconditioning & upgrading your used.

Every now and then I say to myself... No point in spending anymore money on her now as she's an old bird and things will start to wear eventually... But when I see your thread Doogie, and your still going and buying stuff and tuning, it makes me feel like I'm not wasting my time.
Also my cars only done 38k miles so the engine should last for ages and be really strong still hopefully!

I love my car even though she's given me some headaches in the last few months but fingers crossed, end of March and she should be perfect and running strong! (Hopefully)

New wheels, 18x8l et42 Speedline Turini, There is some stone chips on them but came with more or less brand new falkens at an absolute steal so had to jump on them. colour wise, i'm thinking of refurbing to silver as a change from the dark colour combo. thoughts??

Arch gap looks huge because I hadn't moved the car since dropping it off the jack.

Absolutely mate, If anything, you are giving it new life and replacing parts that may well fail in the future. Don't get me wrong, every car needs maintained and money spent on it, thats how they lasts for so long.

I've done more or less everything I can think of to this car to still keep it sensible and up the power. Reason for forged internals are more for piece of mind... having the car running so much torque etc has been proven to be safe on standard internals but i'm looking for more scope in the future for bigger power plans but most of all now, a cleaner bill of health. Not that there is anything wrong with the car at all, just for, like i said, piece of mind.

Plus, Simons new 2.0 TFSI turbo thats good for 700hp looks promising. haha.

Different approach to some and that's not a bad thing as it gives a number of possibilities rather than how it was when I started out with really only 2 kits on the market.

Now there are a lot of us looking for this sort of power and the more the better for everyone as the tech trickles into all levels of tune.

Ive counted 40+ emails back and forth with you since contact and near all i reply same day or night if can. I had 1 day off Friday just gone for my birthday and office is shut weekend and please do remember your not only guy emailing (many) i did hope to reply yesterday but never got round too. Its cool and not a issue for me... This is what i do.

Just needed to explain the situation to others and to be honest as said your requests are not the norm. I've actually got one invoice here im just waiting on HQ in Germany giving me the invoice for your German friend to avoid shipping to your country.

Yeah was cool. Actuality spent the day porting two TTE780SL turbos for a good friends very special s4 project (Free of charge). So was nice to just focus on and relax loosing myself focused on the task.
