Advice required for wheels

Hello guys,

Purchased a 2005 8p 2.0TFSI Quattro last week... it came with some S5 wheels on it however looking at changing (just not my style).

I've seen some other wheels, they are 8.5J ET45. Does anyone know if i'll experience issues if i were to fit these? The car has been lowered on Eibach springs.

Forgot to add, they would be 18" wheels

I personally wouldn't go fitting 8.5J wheels as they will stick out around 22mm further than the std ones.
That's just me though, I'm sure plenty others have done it.
Backs should be fine but not sure about the fronts.
Std s-line 18's are 7.5J ET54.

i dont think they'll stick out quite that far, et45 would push an 8j almost flush, 8.5j would stick out a tad I think but not excessive

I'm on 9j et52 with 10mm and it sits. Flushed
