However the stuff I am looking at is 10 year vinyl, they claim it is easily removed if you wanted with no glue residue and as for stone chips I think it is quite hard wearing however you can buy a protective film which is basically a laminate to protect it, however I am going for a matte finish and a laminate on top will make it look glossy?
I did originally want to get the car sprayed grey, however wrapping has opened my eyes to a new kettle of fish. If I was to buy a new car it would be grey without a doubt, however wrapping has different possibilities. As for how much you need I think.. 1 roll of 1.52m x 30m is enough to do a full car.
I am thinking of the idea of black carbon wrap on the roof with mirrors and black trims such as fog surrounds and rear S3 splitter (when it arrives) with a matte yellow body?
