black soot from rear exhausts

Since my full egr delete. Ive noticed quite abit of black soot all over the rear!
Is this normal,as all the crap is going through the exhaust or somthing else to worry about?

TDI engines WILL generate black soot if you boot them...

Never noticed b4. Its like someone throws black talc powder over it.

Have you had it mapped?

Some maps dump **** loads of fuel in which can cause black smoke/soot

Although mine is clean as a whistle after blanking my egr

Could be just the inlet manifold clearing itself out, mine gave a good few coughs of smoke after deleting the EGR on mine but its fine now.

Think italian tune up is needed then. Mpg is better now so not worried its chucking to much in.

As you have carried out an egr delete I would expect the results you have specially as your signature says the car is remapped too. Anything the egr had been reburning through the engine is now just going straight down the exhaust and burning up in the cat. Hence more soot out the rear.
