Air Con Service

i had a phone from audi saying my audi was two years old and could do with an air con re-gas for £59 or together with a winter service for £89.

does it really need doing and is it advised?

Wouldn't worry unless its not blowing cold anymore. Far more important to ensure you run it at least once a week through the winter (temp permitting) to keep it all lubricated.

If you do need it doing, keep an eye out for local offers during the run up to spring. Audi don't need to do it and my last "service" was about 40 quid on an offer in the middle of Feb. Ironically guy who did it commented my system was already pretty much fully gassed anyway hence my comment about waiting to need it.
