The whole problem with this is putting enough cars of similar spec together for the day,and then dealing with the disappointments after!
I think it would be fun to do it,but you'd need to ensure a level ground first,in terms of boost,fuelling and hardware,which is easy enough up to Stg2+,but really hard after that due to the differences in hardware between tuners,even with the same software mapping(and even that's mostly been customised for individual cars).

If I was going to go properly for some big mods I would use your build thread as a shopping list and go Revo. Anything else would be pointless!

We should do a mass RR day for fun, given correct time/location I am up for it. Almost impossible to do a comparison which is objective. For example I rarely agree with EVO magazine group tests as I don't like 911s. Purely subjective based on shape etc.

I have to say that everything I've learnt both from mates who've done similar things,and what I've found along the way,continues to go into that thread,so there's some sort of data for anyone else fancying a bash at it.
Revo have been very helpful in saving me money along the way with some very good advice,and AMDTuning have delivered an excellent car,with good reliability,and the combination of a good tuner,and good software,plus good backup is unbeatable.

That's the map I have on mine. It was a big improvement on the stock map, I don't know what figures it's producing but you can certainly here the difference in induction, turbo and exhaust note while still retaining the smoothness that APR are renowned for

Nice, probably nearer to 320bhp for me as I'm on stage 1 for now!

After having a lengthy conversation with RICK from unicorn ive decided to go with him... he maps the car him self and from what ive read about him on here and other forums hes highly recomended and seems to be a very knowledgeable guy ( pretty reasonable price to ).. should be done in the next ten days when he can get me in so ill keep you all posted !

AMDTuning did a really stealthy install on it.....you wouldn't know it's there if it wasn't pointed out(except for the tank of course!).....will be good to meet up.

I'm hoping to be there for both days so I can have a bit of socialising before and after....a trip in your machine would be good as well....I'd love to know how it goes,as the sound is enough on it's own.

Cool in down for both days too! If my car is indeed ready in time I think I will probably still be running the engine in so no WOT action from me. We can get some shotguns from jonnyc and robj though!

Sounds great.....hope ALL of the cars are in good form....I won't be putting mine down the 1/4mile,as I really don't want to rebuild the gearbox again,but anything else is OK!

Thanks for the feedback guys. Very helpful indeed! I agree that a meet would be good laugh and im sure we'd all gain something from it! Is there any ideas or progression with this idea?
