This is a generic question. I thought I would post it on here as I know theres a wealth of knowledge here.
Mates car has duff ECU. He's acquired new ECU for same model of car. When plugged in the car wont start because the immobiliser is coded to the old ECU
Now the question is can I flash the old ECU and store the info and then upload it to the newer ECU thus eliminating the immobiliser code. If its not possible then he's just wasted some cash BUT if it is then fine.
Any ideas????????
