Obviously they couldn't afford to spend much on the packaging as all the budget goes on the turbo's, which is good..

Bad news:
Wastegate is tiny, so could be in for some interesting 'creep' issues, but for just under 1/2 the price of a new Garrett core (at trade), it's worth a shot.
Metal looks to be made from a similar material to the cheap spanner kits you see.
The Garrett only lasted about 14 weeks, and it was off the road for getting on for 6 of them, so I have nothing to lose really..
