Unusual tyre wear

[S3 MCW]

Have Michelin PS3 all round fitted last year. Was washing the car over the w/e and noticed that the rear tyres are much more worn than the front and the NSR tyre is more worn than the OSR! Whats that all about?

My last set of tyres (continentals) wore out on the back before the front, although it was even wear.

Presume you've had the geometry checked?

If it was the n/s/f tyre it would wear greater due to turning a further distance than the o/s/f due to driving on the left hand side!,have you had fronts rears swaped at any point?,could be one tyre from faulty batch,if not check rear springs stabiliser bar ect i would!!

Never heard of a rear doing that,its a trailing tyre the fronts doing most of the work!,depends how much difference in mm you meen as wel?

Get the aglinment checked. The inside of my rear off side tyre was ate to bits. Got new tyres and got it aglined and now its fine.
