Gearbox Mounts

Whats the easiest way to replace both mounts? as mine have split.

Is it as simple as lifting the box and undo'ing the mounts, swap and reassemble?

pretty much.

Nearside is easy, offside is a bit difficult because the exhaust and its heatshield is in the way, and you need to get to the bolt under the heat shield to hold it still while undoing. Bit of brute force to bent the shield out the way, or fiddle around with the 3 bolts that hold it on should see you alright.

offside one is the "doughnut" type, Lateral one, Correct?

Did mine after they split a while back. I packed the new ones up with Sikaflex first to stiffen things up a little, which worked a treat. Not a hard job. Shouldnt take you longer than half hour per side.
