Hi all,

Ive been thinking about lowering options and after talking to someone who develops touring cars he told me springs and dampers are a better option for road use.

I run 19'' 8.5 with 225 tyres and an ET of 45.i have a slight bit of rubbing from the rear when i have someone in the back.Ive been looking at 40mm springs and just wanted to know if its going to cause a bigger problem for me.does anyone run the same kind of set-up.

cheers

hi there, i am looking at doing a simmilar set up, but i will be using 215 tyres with 19'' wheels, i was thinking 40mm but am worried that it may rub!

Interesting point about the springs and dampers. I'm about to change suspension and was torn between AP coilovers and a spring/ damper kit but the more I search the more I read the that your mate is correct in terms of comfort anyway. I'm surprised yours rubs with the current set up, if it rubs now surely it will rub more when lowered?

If what I have read is correct run 215's and you won't get any rubbing

~rs~ are you not going for coilovers now?
just springs?or anything else
