A3 DSG - repair after front end

Hi, New on here, and to the Audi world.
I just picked up an A3 3.2v6 DSG with some front end damage to repair as a project.
DSG gearbox wont select gears, or go into park.
I am assuming its disabled following the crash, electronically??
Cable is connected, and moves with the lever

Any clues?

Sounds like mechatronics unit not functioning correctly,
If its machanical (internals) PM me as I have just had my DSG re-built.

Has the multiplug connector on the front of the box been damaged in the accident? Coderead would be my first port of call. If the Airbags or seatbelts are not deployed then the car will not know it has had an accident.

Get it scanned 1st before doing any work.
