iv just bought some angel eyes head lights for my s3, they were stated for an a3 but they fit the car perfectly except the wiring connectors are different, they have the a3 round connection with 5 pins as apposed to two rectangle connectors on the s3, does anyone know where i can get a converter cable to connect them together from?

I had the same problem when I got my devil eye head lights. Audi don't do such an adaptor, they told me I needed a new loom which is £100 or so. All I did was find out which wire did what with a multimeter n made my own adaptor.

look good mate. was the plastic bit there because they didnt fit properly?

as u can see below i need some headlights bad!

The thin bit of black rubber is just there to stop any vibrations I guess n the thick black outline round the indicator is part of the design n is just paint, came off with thinners.

ahh ok it was the indicator bit i mean. hmm ok i may consider these myself. cheers dude

Right ive finally fitted my new lights, i got some connectors off a scraped a3 and joined it all up, standard zenons would not fit as i new, so i have ordered some new ones which should be here on tue. heres a couple of pics so far, will take some tonight with the angel lights on when it gets dark.

what do you think? open to being slated lol

Im normally not a fan of these head lights. But you pulled it off id say, due to the colour off headlights being black and your car being black.
Looks good i'd say, you pleased with them? Any more photos?

cheers mate, yea im pretty happy with them, looking foward to getting the zenons fitted as the standard bulbs are pants.
heres a couple pics ive just taken in the dark, not the best pics but hay.

Mate, they look bangin. Do you mean your going to be fitting HID's instead of xenons? You fancy doing a write up on how you fitted them?

cheers mate, yea im going to be fitting 6000k hids, my friend done all the wiring so im not to sure on which cables were joind to what,
all i know is we got two old connectors from a scrapped a3 which we cut of the loom then cut the connectors from my s3 loom and wired the a3 conectors to the s3 loom, then wired the angle light cables in with the side lights.

heres a new pic

Sound, you got a link to the lighst you bought?

Wow m8, nice job. Good 2 c somthing a bit differnt

they actually look good in the daylight.....lit up i think they look tac if im honest......but then your talking to a man who loves the centre mounted projector headlights 'look'

if i wanted to replicate that look id have taken the originals to pieces, sprayed the reflectors black then added some tint to the lense cover...

look lovely mate u just made my mind up on whether to get some. urs are for an A3 anyway right?

also did they come pre wired plug n play or did you have to wire them up?
