As above, which ones for an audi a3 t?

I like them both tinted in black, can't decide what to get!!

Also, opinions on bodykit welcome!

Don't get your hopes up... this forum is quite purist and so headlights like these and body kits in general tend to attract a negative response... I suspect there are no responses as no one wishes to offend you...

Obviously its your car and you do what you want but there won't be many on here that would be prepared to give a particularly positive opinion...

Most people just fit facelift headlights if you haven't got them already

:Light output on aftermarket headlights can leave a lot to be desired... S3 xenon lights are not as good as you would think so a few (myself included) have modded the lights to use larger bi-xenon projectors and these are brilliant compared

Trups (username t8ups) is a site sponsor and is currently doing a group buy on a set of modified facelight headlights

Worth considering

Ohhhhhh.... I'm not going crazy with the body kit tbh I'm definitely not going to be turning her into something shes not, (non of that pretend its an sline crap), I don't want to change her that much but a little flair here n there can't hurt :)

As mine is an 8l, and all I have found is strange shaped lights when typing facelift, how would they fit? *blonde moment*

From the look of your car you already have facelift head lights..

There is also the 'joey mod' which is painting parts of the inside of the headlight... guide for that is here

As for your original post... my 2p's worth...

Halo lights makes a car look like a BMW...

Devil eye lights are more Audi 'looking' but most I have seen has p*ss poor light output and the 'devil' bit is normally very dim

My advice is not to compromise the ability to see for the sake of 'style'...

There isn't much in the way of subtle body styling available for the 8L... yours being a 5 door won't help as there will be even less stuff out there and tbh what there is typically is a little 'max power'.

Whatever you decide to do please don't fit one of those silly front ends that make an 8L look like an 8P front... these reeeeealy look pants as the rest of the cars styling really doesn't suit the look...

The 8L is a subtly styled classic in my (and a fair few others I suspect) opinion so be gentle ;)

Hey!

I was in the same boat and wanted some fancy headlights.I found out that all the aftermarket ones will provide worse lightning than the oem hella.
And ofcourse they look like foreign object on the car.
I tried adding devil eye but red color is forbidden by law and white light is kind of useless.

I ended up modifing the facelift halogen headlights fitting Fx-R 3.0 bi-xenon projectors in it.

Now i love driving in the night and definitely better investment.

Also 6000k bulbs look beautiful.

You could fit an S3 rear spoiler and Leon Cupra R front splitter for some nice subtle mods.

Seconded. Once you've got these and the car has been lowered a bit then it looks awesome as it is. the cupra r splitter definitely gives the front end more presence. As tufty said, most body kits for these look a bit max power or just dont suit the lines of the car at all.
Painting the lower valance on your front bumper would modernize it a bit as well

Yeah I am sooooo reluctant to mess with it I love the shape of her, real reason is because there's some scuffing to the front on the valance? (New to car parts still learning bare wth me!) And the tailgate has some stretching from a bump (not my fault I was run into the back of last week) so trying to get her looking mint again! I figured for the same price of original parts, I could buy a very subtle body kit and colour coded it all so she looks a little different but not a boy racer hot wheels car lol x

Can you help me? I don't want to buy one that won't fit her! It's an a3 8l 2002, do I need to buy a certain year cupra to make it fit? Will it bolt right on? Bare with me sorry! Xx

They look really nice! When you indicate does the whole light flash orange then? How's that done? xx

I was thinking of chroming underneath... or wrapping it in a sticker bomb style pattern but one I have drawn myself.. yes I have got so many ideas this has been one of them... (hides face)

Hi! :)

I was also about having those little blue tints you can have inside? Always thought that looked nice and would suit the colour of the car too! Just a case of replacing the bulbs then? How about the spotters underneath? Xx

I have devil eye headlights, with the black background. The LEDs are a bit dim compared to proper Audi LEDs but still look good. Also fitted HIDs instead of having the horrible yellow light.

Mk1 Leon cupra r splitter is the one you want, about £45, you have to cut the centre post down to fit, do a search, there are plenty of threads on this subject.
