    Returning a Leased Car (Inspection)

Best way, they'll definitely charge for it as its much bigger than their acceptable wear and tear guide which they use, but as said on our first B9 which went back last month the charge was £30 for wheel refurb, our previous Golf was only £25 for a wheel refurb.

    Returning a Leased Car (Inspection)

Just to concur with last couple of posts - that I wouldn't bother repairing in advance of inspection, our last 3 family cars have all been company leased and they generally charge between £25-£30+VAT per wheel for kerb damage like that (my Missus is a master at kerbing). Each inspection we've...

    Advanced Key Nightmare...

Whoops, its easily done though, can't say for certain its beyond repair but can enlighten you on the replacement cost of a standard key as I was genius enough to lose one from our first B9. If my memory serves me correctly the key itself was around £150+VAT and the reprogramming is £20+VAT per...

Does your A4 Avant follow the camber of the road?

Our previous B9 Avant Quattro didn't do this from new (or indeed over 22k miles and 2 years) and its 3 week old replacement is a B9 Allroad and doesn't either (currently on 1,200 miles) both our B9's ran 17"s on Michelin Primacy 3, as said might be worth getting them to check alignment and (or)...

Post Pics Of Your A4/S4 B9 In Here

I feel you're pain, although we have got an B9 Avant, well an Allroad as our regular B9 Avant Quattro has been replaced now... Had the "pleasure" of 6 trips to the local recycling centre after having a new fence fitted, at that point last weekend the car had only done 167miles !

    First Service Price

That's on a par with what Sytner Audi, Leeds quoted us for our first service (on B9 3.0TDi 218 Quattro avant) however I got them to price match a quote from a local independent Audi specialist, quote was via email confirming service as per Audi schedule, using Audi parts and updating digital...

New A4 Black Edition arrived today - pics

No worries - will get some posted later tonight, I took some first thing when it arrived but have been working all day (or trying to) while checking over new car when it arrived and then later on dealing with paperwork for "old" 2016 B9 when it was taken away from us, boo.

New A4 Black Edition arrived today - pics

Yep can confirm that Audi have changed the location of the 2 usb sockets, coincidentally our 2016 B9 Avant quattro is at lease end today (just awaiting it to be collected) our replacement 2018 B9 Allroad quattro was delivered @ 7:30am and has one USB under the armrest and one under the climate...

How much AdBlue was in tank from factory ?

Sadly not this time, as it's a lease from our own company (as opposed to being an allowance of salary as an employee or PCP) we couldn't get the figures down to where we need them as the pricing has changed - but we've managed to get a 2.0 TDi 190 Allroad for less than we are currently paying...

How much AdBlue was in tank from factory ?

Andy, judging by lack of range some have experienced I think quite a few dealers "forget" to fill up the ad-blue when doing their PDI, our current B9 Avant quattro is on its way tomorrow (end of lease) and a new B9 Allroad is arriving to replace it so I'll be checking the Ad-Blue level too as...

How much AdBlue was in tank from factory ?

I believe its the supplying dealer that tops up the ad-blue during the PDI, so peoples distance covered before topping up varies massively depending on how much or how little the dealer bothers to put in (plus driving style / engine size will make a difference too), we were lucky it seems and...

    S4 problems continue

Doesn't inspire much confidence at all I imagine, should it throw up all the those for a 3rd time I'd be tempted to drop it with them and leave it there on safety grounds and insist on a courtesy car while they get to the bottom of whatever is causing the electrical gremlins once and for all...

    Fuel consumption trip resetting

Ours originally did this, along with outside temperature gauge not working properly (showing zero C when it was about 20c) and the clock not keeping time - all were cured with a software update the car had back in 2016 - its had an update since then (at last service in 2018) and all fine still.

    Hot iPhone with CarPlay

Sounds like that's the issue (ISB and Wireless charging together) our B9 doesn't have the phone box probably why I have no issue with iPhone X overheating while using CarPlay... Surely there must be a work around though?

    Hot iPhone with CarPlay

Never experienced this and have been using CarPlay on my iPhone X in our B9 since the phone was launched in Sept last year, other half uses her iPhone 8 and again never had this happen, prior to that she had an iPhone 6S and I ran a 7 and we've had the car since May 2016 and no issues like that...
