Allroad Luggage Roof Box Pimp

Just used some car vinyl wrap to pimp my luggage box which was all black. Great stuff to work with, I was going to spray paint it but with the vinyl wrap it was quicker and the results were greats and its not permanent.
Yes the towbar. I made an error trying to save money on a previous Audi by buying aftermarket and I regretted it as the fitters were hopeless and the price difference wasn't so much finally. I have already ordered the towbar with the car. I have an Ifor Williams trailer and for my bike carrying I use an Atera STRADA Sport M3 (made in Germany).

I had a Thule bike carrrier before and the electric contacts got screwed up as water got into the connections. As where I live is dry you can see that I wasn't pleased with their quality. It was made doubly annoying as they no longer did a spare harness for the model which was only 4 years old at that stage. I said goodbye to Thule at that point.

Happy with the Allroad then, choose many options? I see you have a 2.0 TDi, the economy looks excellent. Changing over from a 3.0tdi that offered great economy + power. Decided that diesel is no longer for me - not preaching. Had to replace the injectors at 90K km at great expense. Extra insurance costs + maintenance costs for diesel so not worth it. Back to petrol land. I'll miss the torque and the economy but the not the diesel smell nor the diesel rattle.

Happy and safe motoring

I'm on my 3rd Audi, A3's previously being 2L diesels. Done 150k plus in them, bullet proof engines and cars, bar some door electrics faults. I do mainly Motorway miles cursing so easy on the engine as it gets a good blow out being a diesel, never had to do any engine work on them other then a replacement actuator at 110k....

I was going to get the 3L diesel, but the price over performance didn't stack up for me considering the 2L version had 190ps.When I was looking at the A4 Allroad as my new car I couldn't find one on the public road to look at and I do 600 miles a week it wasn't until 4 weeks later I spotted one be it a 2013 model, I seen some Avants version but the Allroad is very noticeable and different even on the same body type. ..

. Then I knew I had to have one as they were rocking horse S**t and turned heads. I ordered mine in January and got it in April. Although its an estate car and not in vogue over the miles of SUV 4x4 the looks it attracts tells me its something special or different.

So it ticks all the boxes for me add to that it can return 65mpg cruising and 45mpg in town with the power to pull from the lights way ahead of other seemingly fast cars plus it can go off road which it does every other weekend, beach & dirt tracks it is a breast of a car.

Add the roof box on and the bike carrier on the tow bar and you can carry some serious loads, camping, biking or cannons and that's with 3 kids in the back and again its performance over rough ground with the rack and box on it stunningly stable. My best car so far.

Thanks for that. I also noted they were quite rare - probably something to do with the price... It looks like you enjoy the car and the outdoor lifestyle and that's great. I get out a lot with my young famiy. I have a couple of questions which you may or may be able/want to answer?

Having never seen the car in a showroom or close-up. Can you confirm what the boot space mat is - reversible velour/plastic? Do you have the induction phone charger - I wanted to know what size it is to see if my phone will fit in?
