PD170 Hybrid Turbo

Has it been done before?

I'm getting it done shortly and all the tuning companies i've spoken to says that it can be done, just that it never has.

Has anyone on here done it or know anyone that's done it?

My mate has a Ibiza Cupra 160PD which has the same vnt -17 turbo I believe? Hes has this hybridised and is waiting to get software done.

Just email CR turbo`s or Turbo Dynamics as they can do this on the PD170 turbo.

So not a PD170 then

but your not making a 'hybrid' of the engine your making a hybrid of the turbo, as the turbo is the same GT1749 that is the relevant bit.
Its the same turbo as the PD150 as well, which plenty of people have hybrided.
