BAD EXPERIANCE WITH BEXLEY DEALERSHIP! (MFSW part help)

Hi Guys,
I have just bought some parts from Stoke Audi and have received a wrong part, and was wondering if anyone here could help me.
Firstly i am upgrading to the MFSW and have all the bits i need except for the harness to connect my airbag to the steering wheel. now from what i know i need the yellow ended cable that connects the airbag and MF buttons to the car... but i have received a harness that has little white ends on it (8P0 971 589 P)

Can someone help me with the right part number? or tell me if the harness i have is right as i am unsure how it would connect up in my car.
I don't have my ETKA yet so i cannot check to see if this is the correct item.

Ok so i just went to the Audi dealership in Bexley to sort out the issue and order the right part...

so i have explained to the parts guy whose name is Darren that i got the wrong part from Stoke and i want to get the right one and if he can check on the system to tell me which part it is, his first response is "you need to go and sort that out with the dealership you got it from" so i agree and still ask for the right part so he goes off to the back and after a little while he comes back with a print out of ETKA showing me the same part again, but the guy has no idea how it fits, just that this is what ETKA tells him and thats the part. so i leave the building confused.
then i call up Nigel from the car park who tells me its totally the wrong part so this time i take in the MFSW and i show the parts guy which cable i need and the wrong one that was sent. he then says to me "i already told you to go and sort it out with the other dealership, what you want me to do? you want me to give you part numbers so that you can go and talk to the other dealership?"
His attitude is ******* me off at this point so i grab my stuff to which he stops me and takes the MFSW to check the part needed. He then returns after a few minutes (in which i am being told by Nigel who is swearing profusely on the phone that i should be complaining at the manager about this guy) with the correct part number on another printout of ETKA. When i tell him i want a price and then want to order it he simply writes the price and parts desk telephone number on the printout and then walks off...
Why do i need the telephone number when im standing in the ****** dealer?!?!?!?

I did ask to speak to the manager but he wasn't in and the manager on site couldn't really help me so i was given the number for the Parts manager who i will be calling on Monday.

He sounds like he was having a bad day,speak to him on monday and see if his attitude has changed and if not speak to the manager about it.
 
Bexley Audi isnt far from me at all and is THE WORST GARAGE I have ever used by far.

The lady on reception seems nice enough, but the rest really dont have a clue. I took my car in there for an MOT and it failed on 'evidence that the wheels have rubbed the arches'.

And your right the parts guy is f*&cking lazy and rude! I wont bore you with all my poor experiences there though.....its safe to say just avoid the place full stop!

Honestly mate I doubt he was having a bad day, I bought bits from there on about 5 occasions and every time he looks at you like your a piece of ****!
 
i have read up until you mentioned Darren.. the geeza is a Ar$e hole, he is the partner of one of my mates birds mate (if that makes sense) and no one can stand him.

just tell him is to tell him to get his head out of his ar$e and do his job and you want to speak with someone else.

He is in an Audi dealership and deals with the public so if he is as bad as that then the manager needs to be told.
BTW why don't you say something to him or is it a confrontational thing ?
 
I'd love to complain about them but I really hate complaining, i'd much rather tell him...but then I still need to go in there on the odd occasion for parts and service!

Saying that, it seems to be a common thing with guys at dealership parts desks IMO

i know what you mean...its ok kicking up a fuss if you dont need to go back but if you do then the ******* will get you back.....Bit like complaining in a restaraunt...just make sure you have finished eating and dont plan to return or they will gob in your food next time..:crying:

I know what you mean but on this occasion all this bloke is is a parts bloke whats the worst he can do ?
 
Yeah obviously its different, just a light hearted example! :beerchug:

But still, telling the guy he is an ******** isnt ideal when you might have to go and see him again in a few months!

i honestly dont care for what he would do as there are a few Audi dealers around here (Docklands, Dulwich) and besides i am using Dave at Stoke Audi who gives us discount :rockwoot:
At least i now know its not just me that has had issues with this ****... worst thing is he doesn't seem to know much about the cars... just reading off the screens... and then has the nerve to give us attitude:gun2:

That certainly isn't the norm,at Coventry Audi I phoned and the guy said pop up for the side bulb and he was very pleasant and helpful and gave me fifty pence off as I had no change.

No i take your point but if you go back and find nothing in stock and you have to order everything on back order just because the bloke will not sell you stuff in stock etc it gets awkward..
