Love the noggy blue

Care to explain the procedure in your cleaning regime?

Second.

Also where did you get your front brake setup from?

Dani..

Previous owner did them but Discs came off Escort Cossie and sourced the calipers off U.s Ebay i believe.

ive done all the forge bits(im a Forge seller) and the blueflame

Looking very good! Personally the brightness of the silver wheels is a nice contrast to the blue, I'd keep them the way they are :)

It's always nice to see what people have to say about "just" a 3 hour wash and wax, it puts into perspective just quite how incredible these professional and show details are! The longest I've spent on a car was 9 and a half hours in one day, and I ended up with a paint finish like this -

Which lets face it is no better than the way your car looks! Without going to a specialist and using real kit there is only so far you can go on a daily car thats being done on your driveway, and I'm fairly sure you've reached that limit! Well done :icon_thumright:

Cheers m8 just toying as they will need a refurb at some time if i keep it.

My old Avus Blue M3 took me like 5 hrs that was with Zymol i think the day before Total Bmw Mag did a feature on it looked really good in the mag though..

Thanks for your comments though

Pete

Which Zymol did you use, the Cleaner Wax? Cleaner wax (I find) is good for getting rid of swirl marks and thats about it, and because it has wax in it sometimes it hinders the application of a quality wax on top.

Try and get your hands on some Dodo Juice some time if you're really into it, I've had excellent results that really last. Easily 2 to 3 weeks with no real deuteration in finish.

cool, very nice then.

A good friend of mine used to work for Porsche in Swindon got it off him..

Looks great, does your arm ache now??! :) I cleaned mine today and it took most of the day!!.

I'd leave the wheels silver, they really look good against the blue :)

its done like 750 miles in the past 4 months..

Slight contradiction lol

That works out approx 6 miles a day lol, my S3 is my everyday car and since me buying it with 38k on the clock a year ago its added another 20k and thats with it being off the road for 3 months!

i second that, check out sandips S3 when he had anthracite wheels, looks mental. The ride must be so harsh with those 19's

my setup is very similar to petes (slammed on 19s lol)
the ride isn't that bad mate i hardly notice the difference between them and the 18s

As Gav said to be honest rides really well

ive always found decent kits to ride really well i had Hartge kit(£1,300) on my old M3 slammed on 18's spot on.. Genuine Sti pink adjustables(£2,000..!!!) on my last Impreza(had 5..!!!) that also ran on 18's Brilliant..!!

Had a spax set up on one of my first cars 1.8 zetec Escort Rs turbo (3rd conversion done by interpro bristol many years ago..!!!) rode like a bag of *****..!!! just bounced round the corners awesome fun though..!!!

Many more i could list (had over 50 cars..!!!)but most people will be getting bored lol...!!!!
