RS6 steering wheel

I've currently got the standard FBMFSW, and said to N8 and NHN that the RS6 wheel is a waste of money

But now, of course, i want one

Is the airbag the same as the FBMFSW and can you use the same module for the steering wheel controls?

I'm guessing no and no, but just want to check

Yes you will be able to use the existing Airbag and Slip Ring, so yes and yes

I was thinking about this mod as well. Did I read somewhere that the TT-RS wheel is the same as the new RS6 one, only you can have it without the paddles? The RS6 only seems to come with the DSG paddles and useless on a manual. I may be wrong. Not seen any TT-RS steering wheels on the bay yet, here or Germany. How much is a TT-RS wheel from Audi, anyone any ideas?

Thats twice the price of a std FB wheel. Cheaper to take your FB wheel to a good upholsterer and get it fattened up

Nah...you buy an rs6 wheel because its a nicer thing to drive with. Pose value is lost on 99.9% of people in Tesco's carpark.
I'm all for making the inside nice because thats where i sit when i take the car out....decorating the outside is for the benifit of poor people at bus stops.

Urm let me see, cause I like it, feels nicer to drive with, looks better to me, makes the car nicer for me, all for me, I only do things to my car for me, why do I feel the need to pose about it & I certainly dont fall into the **** swinging category at all, I enjoy making the car nice for myself, I only share the installs or look for others to see if they like it or not, but overall its certainly not done to boast.

I'm on msn mate, having a ***** time of it tbh, msn me & I'll tell you about it, whats supposed to be a happy time for me is turning into a nightmare, but I'm back for xmas if the snow doesnt stop me & tbh mate you arent going anywhere atm from the weather reports I'm seeing.
