Can someone recommend a decent RS4 replica alloy wheel provider

I am after a set of the RS4 Anthracite alloys found on the A3 Black Edition but am finding it impossible to locate some?

Has anyone found a decent replica set (18" and similar anthracite colour)

Never bought replica alloys due to different fitments (ET, bore size, width, etc) and quality issues but hoping someone has found someone where they are more-a-less identical to the real thing without compromising too much on quality (its hard to tell which one is best out of all the ones on ebay)

Not too sure if there any RS4 Anthractie reps yet. But wheel base do some good RS4 reps, few members on here have bought from them.
 
These people do the new rs4 alloys but not in anthracite thought, but you could always give them a call and ask them if they will be getting some in, or even if can just get you a set for now!

tbh i would feel rather confidence puting replica shoes on my car, after seeing some shocking pictures of stuff that happens to them on various forums and each and everyone ends up spending more by buying orignals after.

in one instance i think i saw this on the golf mk5 forum a replica gti rims split in two! like the outside off the rip was separate from the rest of the rim! an some have been through potholes and dented the rim!?wtf
 
mine are quite nice there called black chrome rs4s from wheel base there really curvy , i love em ....

and trust me ive hit some fecking deep potholes and there fine mate old reps used to do this but there much tougher than they used to be ....

oh no the bum boys are back in town ...:undwech:reps are spot on mate there so more solid that they used to be , you could pay to get some on straight away for cheap not be to ***** about kirbin em cos a new rim is cheap ,or wait get some originals for more money and your car look like's grandads on 18s for a year .....lol
 
All the replicas come from a handful of different companies in China, Turkey, etc. The quality varies massively, and generally the cheapest ones will be cheap quality.

www.sixonetwo.co.uk offer good quality replicas - they're not on their website, but have a full range - you'll find cheaper elsewhere, but there's always the danger of them being a bit too bendy.
 
no way man ......id rather 19 reps anyday then them shyte looking 18 oems they weigh a ton to and i hit a kirb at 25 and wrote 2 of em off so if you wana ride them for a year its up to you.

they even do reps of your oems your throwing on now there spot on to .... i like oem my car is so oem in style but for wheels i wouldnt pay money for oem , there on every audi out there its pointless do you think people are gonna look at your wheels thinking there nice , i think on here they will , but your average joe on the street will just say oh yeah my uncle has them on his tt , bigdeal ....

if i was gona spend money on proper wheels it would be bbs ck pollished or some bentleys maybe something that standout something that people look at and say thats nice , wheels are the nuts....there not gonna say that about audi oem theyve seen it all before ...

im rocking these reps but my plans are for 20s pollished cks it will probably take a while to save for these but in the meentime them wheels make my car look's the dogs ....:blow:the 18s didnt , just looked like any other sline

im probably gona get a lynching now , not bothered that's my opinion
 
to be fair, I will probably go for the OEM ones, just got to wait for as set

As for the above comment, I will be buying my wheels with my money because I like them and like how they look on the car, not so people can say "wow, that looks mint" as I am driving passed

1. I cant hear them say it and 2. I have grown out of that phase and just like driving a nice car for my own benefit :rock:

Just the idea of reps puts me off. Feels like you are cheapening what is a prestige car

My wheels cost me £375, and £350 for refurb. £725 for genuine BBS, ain't bad in my book :readit:

im 32 and like my car to look nice , if i get a few looks and comments its good to, how can you say it's not ???? isnt that what everyone does on here post pics of there car and soaks up the positive comment , if you were grown out of that phase you woulnt be on here asking for advice or post pics of your car which im sure you will if you wasnt bothered now would you .....

i had oems 18 on my car after a little bump 2 were wrote off i got 2 new wheels sold the set with continetals for 350 , then bought my 19 reps they look alot better and when i get some cash saved il buy a proper set of wheels that do standout and look nice ....... for now reps are fine there's a guy on here who just posted pics of a sprint blue s3 with rs6 reps how can you say anything about that , the car looked really nice as everyone was saying including rep haters , the copys are spot on for the fraction of the price and the strenth of these wheels are not far off oem.... its the sensible option if someone was selling bbs ck pollished for about 1100 then id snatch it off but untill then reps rule lol hahaha ........

oem isnt that much better mate i wish you would see the light i wrote 2 oem 18 5 bars same as yours at about 25 mph ..... feck the brand that's all your paying for with oem ...there not as good no but for the price difference il take the slight loss in strengh as i lost 2 oems at 25mph , sack that ...


it can happen to any wheels just going off rep stories from 5 years ago doesnt mean sqaut ive had 2 sets of reps both never got a dint both were solid , and i do drive mad at times ive slammed over speadbumps at 30 40 mph when ive been in a rush and there fine ....

Exactly my thinking

And to be honest, the reps go for £750ish for a decent set with good tyres which is just about the going rate for a set of OEM RS4's on ebay when they come up from time to time.........its probably impatience most of the time.

I also think 18's look just about perfect on a A3 and think some 19's can make the car look a bit like a characture :readit::undwech:
 
yeah but 19 inch rs4 OEM wouldnt fit ...lol plus the 18inch oem rs4 style wheel's look flat and dull go for it .....

not sure why you asked the question about reps , if you was gonna jump on the reply with oem snobbery ...why bother POINTLESS THREAD
 
Wow 27k is a lot for a TDi! I can see both points of the arguments and have done both routes over the years

I had some 15" BBS RC001's on my mk1 that I paid the best part of £1500 for, Had them on a few weeks and scuffed one as i wasnt used to the poke. I was in a bad mood for a week, how sad is that!?:scared2: And I had to wash them every other day as i was obsessed with them!

On the flip side, bought some 19 Gallardo reps for my beetle, Mrs scratched them, wasnt bothered. They were still cool as nobody had them at the time, the amount of people who thought they were real was shocking! :)

Okay lets put build quality aside, IMO - your wheels just look cheap and nasty, and the RS4 style of rim is rinsed out

I don't post pictures on here asking for peoples opinions, I like to post information on here to help out other forum members afterall, I've learnt alot from car forums, I'll post plenty of pictures on here when the rims are on blazin, couldn't give a monkeys whether people like it or not man....

That S3 with RS6 reps did look nice, I even posted that after his pics, if you go and check blazin. I'm not a rep hater, just don't like cheap nasty wheels :arco:

They come up quite alot, although ET41 is the lowest for a 19"x9 wheel and the genuine RS4 is ET29 hence why everyone gets reps

18s look shyte havent you said that your self in many threads to... i hated the wheels you got thats why i got rid of them they look nice in 19 though just boring in 18... and them tt wheels aint gonna look great , itle just look like sumut of an audi forecoart nothing special ...just bland and lowered

your hardly oem with ...coils on and an s3 front on a sportback what bullsh&t.....

its all about opinions lads, thats what car modding is all about

In answer to the "pointless thread" comment, I started the thread to find out if there are any decent providers but I think the opinion I have got is that although some get relatively close, they arent a patch on OEM quality, hence why I will be going the OEM route :)
