Ive got my S3 on ebay at the mo for 5495ono, its decent spec, but high(ish) on miles but with full service history and no mechanical/electrical faults whatsoever and drives as it should.

Its a 2000 X reg 210 AMK remapped to 260bhp.

130k

Brilliant black with blue/black alcantara
Bose sound
Centre armrest
FULL facelift, including one piece lights, updated dash, etc.

Just recently replaced:-

Thermostat
Waterpump+Cambelt
Eibach ProKit lowering springs
Spark Plugs+Coil Pack No1
Oil+Filter

As you know, these are all common weak points with the S3.

I thought £5495 would be about right?

Sounds about on the mark for current prices, theres some right ***** out there at the moment. You have any pics?

id have probably bought that about a month ago when i was looking for one, looks really clean and a good price

Looks a clean car for the mileage, and I personally think the mileage will be the only thing that puts any potential customer off, but it's a facelift model also.

Price sounds about right, someone should be getting a decent car there.

Try Piston Heads. I think a lot of people on eBay are after standard cars, so you may get more "enthusiasts" on a site like Piston Heads, or the classifieds here.

Nice car though, why you selling?

if you fancy a few more quid I will swap my standard brakes for them brembos, I would obov pay a bit for them! PM me if your interested!

looks a really nice example cant belive your finding it hard to sell thats a top bargin imo

Sounds about right for the car, whoever gets it will defo be getting an excellent example of an S3, only thing that would've put the price up a bit more would be lower mileage, but that in consideration make the price just right for the spec of the car.

Good luck with the sale.

It looks really nice mate! Can't believe you cant sell it as 130k isn't a lot of miles for an Audi. I looked at loads with less mileage than your's two years ago and they were utter **** boxes for mega money.

Having said that, a dealer only offered me £3,500 for my 2001 plate yesterday with 116k and fsh........:(

Good luck with the sale.

Very smart and well looked after. Shame about the miles and a remap with that mileage but i'm sure someone will be interested

Stunning looking car mate. You would like to think someone would bite your arm off for that price. We are living in **** times for second hand cars though....like my mate who advertised his absolute red 2002 S3, un-modded with 60K on the clock for £6000 and didn't even get the slightest bit of interest for 3 months, although it did eventually sell for the asking price to a dealer (must have had someone lined up for it)

Had quite a bit of interest over the last couple of days, it may even be gone tomorrow. Part of me wishes i could keep it but needs must.

Just thought i'd update you guys. We had this on Ebay for £5495 or best offer and it sold for the buy it now price. The guy has just driven away in it.

Hold out for the right money if you have a nice one, people will pay.

OMG why on earth would you want one of those?

Glad you sold your S3 but i think you should of kept it now i know your replacement!!! :)

Hey guys,

Well, we got rid of the S3 as it cost us a small fortune in the time we owned it.. common faults (thermo stat, water pump then we obviously did the cambelt, broken springs etc)
And we also got a cocker spaniel pup, and we decided to sell.

We regretted it ever since, we never owned a bongo in the end, our last car was a golf GTI R32 rep with LPG but I really REALLY missed the S3.

What struck me this time round when looking for an S3, was that there are quite a few NASTY ones out there. We looked at two 51 plate s3's and they were both in worse condition than the one we ended up buying.

We werent too fussy on what we wanted, ideally facelift, not cream leather, and ideally remapped.

We were watching this on ebay for some time, and decided to go and look at it, and we fell in love, unfortuntly the traction control light was on, we spoke to our local VAG specialist who gave us some interesing information, and decided to go for the gamble, and knocked a considerable amount off for the light being on.

So, we only picked her up Saturday night, its booked in next weekend to find the problem, we have just vag com'd it, a few faults which could cause it..
MAF sensor and brake switch.

Anyhow... here she is

We sacraficed on the full facelift, its got the piano black interior, its on a W plate.

came with a few nice mods.. BBS LM (reps unforutntly) milltek exhaust, private plate, remap and coilovers.

Loving S3 ownership again!

wish my car already done for me when i bought it!

nice buy looks in great condition

Dont normally like Yellow cars but that does look the dogs...

As above , yellow not my usual taste, but there does seem like something special there - can't quite put my finger on it.
