plastic caliper covers...

good job mate, get pics when completely finished!

Pleased you painted instead of the covers?

tbh when i put 1st coat i was not impressed at all:( but after 2nd coat it became really nice. i did not take calipers off but u need to get eyes very very close to see difference, but when i look it standing next to the will i feel very proud:))) also i got my milltek resonated fitted yesterday (cat back) quick guestion if i put downpipe will it improve sound??? also i got today airfilter from green will see how it will work:)

wow your pushing the boat out on this one.

I really dont know about your sus mate?

I would not like to coment on the quality of the coilover kit, as I dont know much about that make?

All you can do is take it to a decent garage and get them to have a look.

Good luck!

finally done:)

The car looks very tidy, but I can't help but think painting the calipers emphasises how small the brakes are...

looks good mate! did you use the caliper paint from halfords? just with you saying it took you 2 coats!

looks spot on! do you not have any issues with 19's and lowered? thinking bout it myself!

well u not wrong V6Pete:) but on the other hand it looks quite nice. dk. I used Hammerite Red smooth as somebody recommeded here. Yes i do have a bit of problem with rubbing. whne i go hard on roundbout left side fron is rubbing. rear is fine untill somebody seats on back seat. do not know how to solve that problems...

Good work!

much much much MUCH better than glueing plastic ***** on there, done a nice job!

I had them on my a3 1.8t did not melt 1 fell off tho! Got them off eBay not bad for about £15 I did have drilled disks which made them look good through my rs4 wheels they come with glue so if you need to take them off just lever them off then glue them back on takes 5 mins they were on for about a year before one fell off. However I have an s3 now and am looking for the real deal when it comes to brakes.

Absolutely. But imagine how stupid those giant fake calliper covers will look with a tiny standard solid disc.

Possibly THE most foolish thing I have ever seen for modding your car. What's next? fake stick on engine tops so we can all have a 4.2 V8?

Lol.
