Hi guys, newbie here, just purchased an S3 and what can i say, i absolutely love it. The drive is superb, i'm quite impressed with the power as a lot of people said i wouldn't be impressd. The interior is stunning and the bose system is amazing.

I've already started moding it as i've fitted the facelift rear lights and i've ordered some 19"lambo alloys which will be here 2moro. :o.k:

I'm looking to get some coilovers next so if anyone body has some they are selling let me know please and I'm also after a set of facelift lights too.

here's some pics

Looooooks good mate.

Only had mine 3 weeks - I'm still smiling ear to ear, always have to take a second look as I'm walking away from it too...

I think my BOSE is knackered... :(?! the passenger front speaker crackles too - not impressed. What would be the best approach for me here? To replace them?!

The Bose aint worth replacing mate, its nothing special at all, go for some aftermarket speakers of the same size, should sound much better!

Nice car paul, the facelift rear lights look great, not keen on the lambos mate but its your car at the end of the day,
Looks a nice clean example

Nice clean car, look forward to seeing the wheels..

Personally would recommned the JL audio set for speakers, around £200 for 4 speakers. Sounds good.. im sure andymac or the other ice people will also be happy to advise you on an upgrade.

think anymacs the man aint he. nice smart car there mate welcome to the forum.

If you do want to stay with the Bose system, I've just removed the front speakers from mine, so they are going for a nominal fee.

PM me if interested...

Cheers,

Was is it with lambo reps?? lol. Car looks spot on mate!!

Yep my bose is ******** to broke front passenger speaker and the volume has a mind of its own first thing in the morning

nice mate!

don't think for 1 minute that facelift front lights are a 2 minute swap, it took me 8 hours to get them to fit perfectly, you need to cut the inner wing and modify bumper supports etc.

I took mine apart too and painted the chrome, it looks a million time better now but I wouldn't do it again.... i'd rather just sell mine and buy a facelift S3... seriosuly

Well, the lambo rims came today and i fitted them tonight, what can i say, they look the nuts. i know these wheels get some mixed opinions but all i can say is the pictures dont do these rims justice, when you see them on the car they look stunning. I was worried when fitting them that the car might look to high but it doesn't look to bad, so dont know wether to go for springs now instead of coilovers as i think the drop on springs might look just nice. Whats the lowest springs you can get?

As for the facelift headlights, that'll be nothing compaired to what i've done to my other cars in the past. so i'm looking forward to that project job.

It's not really, i bought this car dirt cheap and wanted to see what the car would be worth, and i think i was about right because i've had a quite a bit of interest. But if i do sell it it'll only be to buy another S3 as i know of one going with quite a bit spent on it.

But i dont think i'll sell it as i'm loving it to much.

Lowest springs for an S3 8L is around a 30mm drop which is usually more then enough on the S3's.

Can you give me some examples you can supply and the cost delivered, thanx
