you see i dont think it lokked much lower dont know what you guys think???? and ascuse the rust on the front arch and sill it getting sorted(after my insurance repair)

The grille makes small children cry, sorry :(

Could make the whole end look much better with an S4 or RS4 grille each to their own though if you want to be different

Yeh not feeling the grill but a set of face lift lights and a different grill would bring it way up to date.

Oh and it dose not look like the car drop very much but give it a few weeks for it to settle down though.

Not tripping for that grille at all.

no i know about the griill i forgot about the bonnet release after i cut it up!!!!!!!! it on the year project to get changed to the abouve black grill. dont worry i agree with you about that. rember people mine a sport so allready a 20mm drop so really onlt got a 20mm drop from a 40mm kit................ the ride is fantastic thou feels so much firmer but onlywhen at speed. over bumbs etc it still real comfy more that my orignal i would say

and also addedto the thread how terrible are those alloys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i HATE them. what do people think of brakes?

i'd have taken the opportunity to upgrade to 312mm disks, and i personally dont rate performance disks. I've not really heard owt about black diamond pads either. The disks do look a funky black color though, i wonder if that wears off?

I actually really like those wheels, but couldnt afford a set and ended up having to fit tyres to the 16's so unless a set comes up really cheap then i'll just have to keep the existing rims.

i had black dimond gear on my mk2 golf gti and they were the nutz! good choice mate.

tbh i'd have spend £100 on new 312mm caliper carriers, £30 on some standard disks from factors and some mintex M1144's for ~70

£50 less and they would be even better than what you have now!

Give your new suspension time to settle in, it will get a touch lower over time once the springs have softened up and bedded in a bit.

afaik all models bar the S4 and RS4 have 288mm disks as standard. The 312mm disks are fitted to A6's and are a streight swap with the larger carriers from a TT
