@ Bowfer - does that Snooper in your pic come with the hidden baracket type mounting kit as shown? It looks like a permanent install into your car without damaging any trim is that right?
Looks pretty good fitted as it is. Did you do it or a specialist?
Here'a photo without the satnav on.
The bit that attaches to the dash (no damage ) is a BRODIT CLIP.
Look at
www.dsldevelopments.com for one for your car.
The clip stays in the car, permanently.
Now, normally, you then buy a BRODIT MOUNT for each specific piece of equipment you want to use.
So you might have one for your satnav, one for your phone etc.
They then just clip on and off.
Unfortunately, Brodit don't (yet) do mounts for Snooper products.
So I had to buy another type of mount and screw it onto the clip.
The satnav just slides on and off.
It's not ideal, but it works fine.
If you were to choose a satnav that Brodit do do a mount for, it would look a lot neater.
Just imagine the pic without the screwed on bit!
Since this picture was taken, I've painted the brass screws black.
It look better.
