ClubGTI Curborough Sprint Event 2014 - 7th September

For those who don't know what Curborough is all about, it's a little sprint circuit near Litchfield.

Rather than a typical track day, due to the tiny circuit, the day is run as a fun sprint with timed laps, so one car on the track at a time, doing timed runs against the clock.

It's a great fun day, really sociable, and because the runs are split up you don't put much undue wear and tear on the car at all, unlike a track day.

You can also take passengers out if you wish, so everyone can share in the fun :)

Would be great to see some more ASN people there!

Cannot wait for this, heard so much about it and for a day of Motorsport; it's ****** cheap dirty fun!

Would love to come and get involved but really can't see the car being ready by then :(

Fair enough, all spectators welcome I have been told! But you're not going to get much better value than 45 quid to use this bit of track for the best part of a day! Nick reckons we will easily get 10 runs in each. :racer:
 
Is it me, or only 8L A3/S3 Audi owners have the bottle to take to the track? Or are 8Ps still too high in value for their owners to risk their pride and joy?
 
They know they'll get eclipsed by the 8L, I don't blame them for running scared.

If we can lock out the podium with 8L's I will buy the top three dinner ;)

There have been other a3's in the past, both 8L and 8P, and they've done pretty well in :)

For £45 you won't get better value from a day out, no rigorous car prep needed, no fancy tyres, just arrive and drive fun!

im just trying to be a good guy here!!
how would you feel trying hard chasing the record and i smash it in my stage 1 lardy **** s3.
 
I'm really surprised more people don't fancy this. It's such great value for money for such a good days fun!

The 8P boys have no interest, they don't know what Motorsport is, they only do retrofits! :laugh:

I'm not even going to bother with the 8V section, they are too busy ticking their optional extra boxes, and stressing out over the debadge option or not? :Flush:

We have a B8 A4 joining us aswell, he has over 300bhp!

it's SUCH a cheap day out, no tyre and brake wear, only half a tank of fuel, as far as cheap fun goes, this is awesome.

get it booked man and quit messing about :laugh:
 
All spots booked but available to go on the reserve list if any drop out.
Should be a laugh,yeah watch out Joe and Nick….as in watch out when I lose control of the car :w00t:

Just gutted I won't be in full k300 mode as the first available slot for mapping with Bill is on the 11th, so close! . . Ah well, least it gives Jarod a chance of keeping up :p
