audi a3 1.8t sport

hey sorry if this is in the wrong section but I am new to this particular forum.

having a few minor issues with my a3 1.8t sport

99% of the time it boosts fine, on the odd occasion its becoming more and more frequent that's it seems to go into limp mode and loses power above 2.1/2 thousand rpm ( splutter and bogs down )

does anyone know the cause of this and what can be done about it?

would appreciate any help

Hi Ben, I used to have that kind of issue but just changed my fuel filter & fuel pump, the problem was long gone.

Getting it scanned for fault codes would be a good start.

I'm just down the A1 from you (St Neots) I only have VCDS lite but can scan it for you and see what comes up.
