Only had it done on Friday and it's sending me nuts already. Might rent it out lol. 9 weeks off work isn't such a bad thing though lol
Bargain, i paid 3k more for the same plate but for an S-tronic fully loaded with wing backs, satnav, cruise control, black styling etc from an Audi dealer! Cant wait to get mine mapped & modded!
Looks minted. I've just got myself a sprint blue S3 last week. Feels so much nicer than my old S3. £16,500 was that a dealer you got it? I got mine for £12,900. 64k cruise control, sat nav screen etc. Mind you I did buy it off my brother and managed to talk him into a cheap price lol. What's your plans for it now?

yeah i got it from a dealer in hatfield, 35k on the clock and decent spec. stage 2+ is on the horizon and then start saving for a v8!

what benefits are there to the oil catch can?
Great looking car Rob, welcome to the S3 club
Just a bit of advice, if you are planning on fitting an oil catch can then dont bother with the TTS cover as it wont fit properly after the catch can is fitted.

The TFSi engine injects directly into the cylinders,and thus the inlet valves are prone to getting coked up with whatever rubbish enters from the breather systems,and in particular,the PCV breather system.
A catch can takes out most,but not all of this muck before it hits the valves.
Having a wee look at your thread again Rob... Need to update that silver tts cover... Mines lasted 3 days then had to change it up a wee bit, got my creative head on and had a muck around....

got the r8 cap on the way but i will get round to changing the colour scheme of the tts cover when i think of one!
I went for that 1 mate... For as much as anyones gonna see the engine bay anyway, I like how it pops... All stealthy then that bit of red 's' to make it stand out a wee bit from normal... Was thinking bout doing it in the spint blue to match the car, but glad I didnt now...
that engine bay looks lovely mate - are those tt engine covers a pain to fit - how much for revo intake out of interest
