Got a whole box of them, they're very good tbh, last for ages.

I had mine like that for a while but I prefer the cover over the cup holders, looks a bit more tidy.

I stick mine in the little hole in the back in between the two front seats.

This just reminded me of how annoying the cupholder is. Good idea on the air freshener though.

Great idea, I hate hanging stuff from the rear view mirror and I never use the cup holders.

Any idea where you get them from at a decent price?

Can also get them from Halfords and places like that but they're more expensive.

Can't beat them though!

Babz are on ebay & where I got my box of 10 for that price.

That's where my Calfornian Scents used to live all the time.

Even better.... the narrow long compartment in your centre console just in front of the cupholders and next to your handbrake (see below) is the perfect size to snugly hold a McDonald's ketchup/BBQ/Sweet & Sour sauce.
It makes driving whilst dipping your chips in sauce and talking on your mobile phone at the same a lot easier.

Try it. You heard it here first.

But where do I put my loose change! lol

Ashtray! Ive been keeping my California scents in the cupholder for as long as ive had the car. Just becomes a problem when i have a drink in the car.

Word of advice to people, never take those pads out the can and put them on something. The perfume will melt plastics down!

Also, does anyone with leather interior find the smells aren't that strong? In my old cloth interior car it was soaked into everything, in the audi its strong for a few days and thats it, just doesnt soak into the interior.

Ive been doing that since ive had the car lol and always buy cherry one

I always find the gap between the seat frame and the floor tunnel around all the holes in the carpet is perfect for keeping loose change you never want to spend again because there is no viable way that anything that goes here you can get back, upto now i have lost 20 snouts,£30 ish in change,a sausage roll,an old collectable jazz mag and 2 springer spaniel family pets (of ours).

Just to be different i wasnt impressed with the california car scents,ok i only tried one but i didnt think it lasted long at all

Keep my change down the side of the driver seat or under it as it always falls put and then is tea dof collecting it i suck it up in the hoover and lose pounds which annoys me

I can't, I removed the ashtray and replaced with the ashtray delete part, MUCH more useful than the ashtray imo. I advise getting rid of the ashtray, they are a complete waste of space!

The big cup holder is too deep, I need to find a way to "step" the bottom up neatly!

Fill it with sand :p its not like the sand will go anywhere huh lol.

I got mine from home bargains, not much choice but cheap as chips. :D

I prefer the ashtray me, rather than the ashtray delete. Change would fly all over the shop without the ashtray!

Sell these at work lol 1.50 with the olde staff discount lol. Proper smells like cherry bakewells though. Got auto glym smelly hanging from my mirror at minute. much less subtle (smelling that is)

Haha. Yes.... It's a great place. I have a box of 300 of them that go out as a freebie with orders on the site. People love them.

Well I'm gonna blow some further minds.... The small hole next to it, is perfect Red Bull can size. I have my Audi change holder in the bigger of the two.

Just ordered myself 3 of these from Babz for £6.35

BALBOA BUBBLEGUM
CORONADO CHERRY
SHASTA STRAWBERRY

Currently using Autoglym smelly hanging from mirror, but find it only lasts a max of 2 weeks, hope these last longer than that.

Was that change holder from the Audi gift shop? If so, why store £10 in change in a £16,000 change holder :D

I always thought the smaller cup holer was designed specifically for Red Bull-style cans?

yes mate, i used to fit smaller redbull cans there, and larger monster/relentless cans in the bigger one, but nowwwwwww its purely for air fresheners :p

Dunno how much it was... Got it for free from Audi. It's designed to fit the new A1's and A3's and a few others if I remember rightly. It just about sits in mine.

I just use it for golden nuggets for parking machines...

Thanks for nothing I was being good this week and hadn't ordered anything for the car until I read this thread ....
Ordered 4 of them smellies to try them out lol :)

Been doing this for months, make sure the lid never pops off & the actual blocks sit on the plastic for any length of time as they melt the rubberised coating on the centre console.... As I found out to my horror :(
