Thank you stretch fit tyres, on the plus side no damage to the tyre.

I hope she was worth it ....

Haha! My nearest misses have come from summer days and admiring the scenery.

And I feel your pain on that wheel, ouch indeed! What width tyres and wheels are you running, that seems a decent amount of stretch.

I feel your pain! At least its repairable and when your move u can't see it.

beauty about splits. new dish

If only they were real split rims. :(

The rims are pretty soft so I'll fettle it and dress it up with a rubber mallet and a block of wood for now. On the plus side they are cheap so I'll most probably end up getting a replacement wheel.

That's really annoying that the pictures don't come up for me on my iPhone! Dunno why, every other photo on the site does....

Ouch did a similar thing to my rear passengers side the other week.........I swore very loudly in the car!

what did it hit ???..... i think you should sell all four to me really cheap and buy some new ones :undwech:

I hit the inside of a roundabout which had a sandstone block sticking out of it.
I will be changing the wheels but only when funds allow so it could be a while yet.

Or you could buy mine which are in the classified section under Audi parts...... :p

I know i keep seeing them and thinking i might make you a very cheeky offer.... but i don't fancy 19's if i'm honest the price of tyres puts me off as i do quite high milage

Well just for the record Greeny's wheels are also 19", plus if your not fussed about tyre brands you can get them for peanuts on fleabay.

whats the ride like on 19's ??? paired with sport springs

If I'm completely honest with you, and I'm not just saying this, I couldn't tell any difference when putting the 19's on after having 18" S4 Avus. That was on the standard sport suspension, then after fitting the KW coilovers it still didn't seem to make any difference! Put it this way, my wife used to HATE my old cars such as my civic type r, scooby, clio sport 197 etc that had big wheels (well, 17's and 18's on the scooby) cos she always used to complain about the harsh ride, but she never noticed the difference when I fitted the 19's and the coilovers over the 18's and standard suspension, and still to this day hasn't mentioned a harsh ride at all.
