Polished Throttle Body ??

To gain what? something thats polished that does nothing then you have to cover it up?

Don't waste your time with it



I think its meant to give better flow, A bit like when people smooth out the air box.

This is advise from some that has spent years porting cylinder heads, There is flow bench tests out that that prove its all a waste of time.
 
Any polishing of the inlet side of the engine isn't worth it. It can in fact, make things worse.
 
Yes, the "making it worse" part but it's still a waste to polish the inlet side. What's more important is nothing effecting overall flow, like steps as I'm sure you know.

You efforts are better spent polishing the paintwork ;)
 
heres mine very clean :)

only used some wet'n'dry paper to clean off all the burnt on carbon. didn't go to get a mirror finish

What grade wet&dry paper did you use?
 
got ity clean and blinging on the inside.. hehe

and zero actual performance gains... other than restoring a durty one to clean state perhaps @ best
