Today's jobs

In my endless pursuit of getting my audi perfect. Today's jobs are:-
Get my cruise control working
Fit a new thermostat
Fix my canbus problem between radio and dash cluster
And full valet.

Update time!

Thermostat done, was a pain ended up taking the alternator off to get more room, I'm roast my plums off now.

No luck with radio wiring has continuity and power so is a component fault I suppose unless there are any other ideas? I tried googling seems pretty common but no one seems to know why.

No luck with cruise control checked all wiring everything is where it should be just will not don't know what else to try.

All in all pretty much waste of a day as have accomplished very little.

Any help on the electrical side would be very helpful. Think I'm gonna have to buy vag com....

Stupid question but the Cruise was coded to the car wasn't it?

dont buy cheapo thermostat, you will be changing again in 6 months.
Audi cost £30 new with the seal.
1/4 inch drive and knuckle joint and you wont have to move the alternator.

Thankfully I brought a genuine Audi one. It is coded it has the "g" in the field sorry I don't know much about vagcom.
