Currently silver, but started to fancy trying out a white wrap job. Nice or not:

I prefer silver! White will also show the dirt and you'll be forever cleaning your car instead of driving it!

Iv been searching around a few companies for quality, in WHITE!
Think it looks brilliant. Waiting on a price of a bright white, nearly reflective.

Oh why did i have to see this, i was sure to re spray the same colour (yellow) and now I've seen this n I'm torn between the two now, gawd damn it.

My only issue with wrap is that a top quality wrap and the labour to do it will be a similar price of a respray and I think a painted finish is nicer.

Well, here in the good old Norway wrap is something like £1600-£2200 depending and respray is more like £5500. So that's why I'm considering it. For equal money, I agree with you, paint is sweeter.

why does the door look like a different white to the front and rear panels - is it the lighting.

Looks good mate had a white car for 5 years before my Ming blue s3 and it stayed cleaner for longer dark cars show to much dust :( silver is the best to hide dirt I have found

Well, the pic is photoshop job and the tweaking made whatever difference there is in reality come out. The paint job is far from perfect, that door is actually brand new, got it replaced under warranty. The whole car is a bit "patchy" actually.

Wraps are far cheaper than resprays and the quality is phenomenal. Make spray jobs look ordinary.
I use wraps week in week out on high end motors for looks and protection. Like i said, wraps are alot cheaper but the price is alot due to the labour

You'd be surprised. Black is far worse. I had a white car for 4 years and it always looked gleaming compared to mates black cars.

This looks awesome. I will eventually get mine resprayed and been thinking about keeping it yellow or going white. White looks very updated.

With black/dark wheels and a white wrap it would look wicked.

you just need to have OCD to keep it clean

once you go black you never go back
Agree with this mate. I have had a couple of black cars in the past, after the last one I said never will I have black again, always cleaning it etc. Then when I went to change and spotted my A3 in the showroom, gleaming I said yeah I will have black please. Does look fab when clean. The white does look nice, At least with the wrap you can take it off when you get bored. :uhm:

white looks good but as said above your be cleaning it alot, im wrapping mine soon to a fairly bright colour
