I've been a member now for some weeks now and found myself asking questions, posting replies & getting involved before I had even introduced myself. So I thought I'd take the time to apologise for that oversight and hopefully correct it.

I'm a middle aged male, born in Coventry (shhh), been living in Herts since '78 and am enjoying owning my first Audi.

Some of the cars pictured on the site are a testament to their owners' passion & others' genius & determination to 'upgrade' Audi's efforts! there are some gorgeous cars here and it's great to see ...well done guys. :applaus:

My intention is to keep this car for a few years before renewing it ...barring any license losing, or otherwise unforeseen, mishaps! Although I'm happy with the car & spec, I'd like to retrofit one or two optional extras and personalise it a little, but there'll be no wild modding here ...any changes will have to be in keeping with the cars original theme and I'm happy to let the younger ones have the RS6 grills & 20' Rotors. lol

Sorry for leaving my intro so late and see you around the forums. :beerchug:

Welcome to ASN. Glad your enjoying the forum. Its a really helpful site with lots of really nice people and lots of really useful information. Have you any pics to share? I hope you continue to enjoy your time on here. :) x

Thanks for the welcome Guys.

I've already posted in the 8P3 & previous cars picture threads, and there's a few shots in my Garage too! Once I get around to having the paint corrected & detailed I'm sure there'll be a few more picture posts. and Yes, I am indeed loving the site. :salute:

Thanks for the invite Fran.

I haven't been to Wicksteed park since school days in Cov. :)

I'd love to be there, but I work for LUL and in order to get my full Olympic bonus I have to work every shift - there is a 2 week break between the Olympics and the Para Olympics that begins around the 12th I think, which we can take off, but I'm not sure of my duty timetable at the moment, so I won't put my name down just yet.

Rest assured though, If I'm not working I shall be there.

no probs mate ;) , yeah if you can pop down ive been going for a few years its a good day out all round me and the boys are making a weekend of it :)

Well I was right not to join the attendees list as I'm working until 07:30hrs ...then I'll need some sleep. Would love to have been there, but work has to come first. Sorry guys! :(

I've been at this 12hr shift crap since last Sunday evening & to say I'm shattered would be an understatement.
