Right I did my first logged power run with vagcom tonight.

I have a 1.8T sport AUM (ko3s) with definned and smoothed box, extra air intake, k&n panel filter and N249 bypass on standard map.

To me the numbers look to be smooth (if u get me) i'm just worried the mass airflow numbers looks to be low at the top end, please remember I'm un mapped.

Here's what I did: rolling at 2000 rpm, then foot down untill just over redline, then off the gas, done in third gear.

Can anyone tell me if my results are: 1. Below Standard (need work) 2. Normal 3. Better than standard.

Here's the result:

So is she ok?

Please remember: I'm now sat like a school kid waiting for exam results lol

Cheers guys and gals :)

Cheers Dave, its ko3s aum so 150, when U say "ok" do you mean normal for a 150 or can you tell that any of my little mods have made a difference, for instance the air flow, after the mods on the induction i would expect a better figure than standard.

Your highest airflow reading was 118.75gs so 118.75/0.8 = 148hp (roughly)... looks ok to me based on that... just adding an airfilter to a turbo engine doesn't always net more airflow especially on std cars as they are typically working within the limits of the std hardware.. you only gain if there was a perceivable restriction in the first place

Thanks tuffty So in effect regarding airflow, its like putting 8gb of memory in a 32bit (standard map)windows operating system as it will only use 3gb of the 8gb untill you get a 64bit system (remap)which will use the full 8gb?.

Am I right in thinking boost looks ok too?

Intriguing analogy and sadly I understood it lol...

After a fashion, yes...

lol, I thought it was good too! All i'm trying to do is make sure the engine's running optimal and in the best possible condition before I take the remap route (which everything sounds to be ok so far). When money allows I will be fitting a FMIC and Changing all the hoses, tip etc to silicone. All i'm aiming for is 200-220 bhp, is this achievable with what I have or plan to have? What other things would I need to keep the engine and turbo happy and solid. Inbetween the engine side of things I plan coil overs, poly bushes all-round etc, mintex pads and discs (std size).

Right as some of you may or may not know I accidentley sort of had my car re-mapped (safe) and after that all the usual boost/vac leaks hit me like a train so now after all that I have sorted pcv delete, boos pipe fixes etc. I thought I would revive this thread with my new updated log :)

To me all looks good except the bit I highlited on this line it seems there's a blip, I think it could be TB related but ill let you decide also would 203bhp be the right figure i have come to?

Cheers and here's the results (this is a safe map on a k03s turbo Aum engine).
